How does a Blackberry Device Work?

A blackberry device is essentially a small computer built into a cellphone that can not only receive telephone calls but also email and web content. Blackberry’s also have mini keyboards, small LCD screens, and applications built into them making them essentially mini computers you can hold in the palm of your hand. Blackberry’s do not poll the Internet for information, but instead wait for a signal received ( such as an email ) and alert the user to the existence of the new information.
