How do You Treat a Scorpion Bite?

Scorpions actually sting, they do not bite. If you find that you have been stung by a scorpion wash the area with soap and water. Then put an ice pack on the area for 10 minutes, then take it off for 10 minutes and repeat several times. If the area is on your arm or leg, lift your arm or leg to heart level. If you develop other symptoms like blurry vision, numbness or tingling you will want to seek emergency medical attention right away.
