To make your own sugar cubes, combine 2 cups of sugar and 2 tablespoons of water in a bowl. Mix sugar and water until it starts to hold its shape. Spoon the mixture into mini ice cube trays and compact it by pressing with the back of a spoon or use your fingers. Turn tray over and gently tap out the cubes onto a flat, dry surface and allow them to dry for 30 – 60 minutes. Don’t touch them while they are still moist as they will crumble.
