To make your own root beer, you’ll need the following: vanilla, wintergreen, ginger, licorice, and sarsaprilla. You can find all of these at most health food stores, FYI. You’ll also need sugar and water. Bring the water to a boil and add all of the ingredients, let it boil for about half an hour. When it’s cooled off, add some ale yeast and then allow the root bear to ferment. After the fermentation process (which will take about 12 hours), you can bottle your root beer.
