To make oatmeal, place the raw oats in a pot, add water and boil for about 5 minutes or until cooked. Add a pinch of salt, vanilla and nutmeg and other spices and sweeten to taste by adding sugar. For additional flavor, you may add raisins and other fruits as well as nuts. Oatmeal is great for breakfast and is a very good source of fiber.
