To make gravy from scratch you will need self rising flour, water, and oil. Start by heating a few tablespoons of oil on medium heat. Then you will need to add enough flour to soak up all the oil. At this point brown your clumps of flour. Then slowly add water. When it starts to thicken you can add more water. Be careful not to add to much water, as you will water your gravy down. Lastly, season to taste with salt and pepper.
