To make glazed carrots, start out with either fresh, frozen or canned carrots. If fresh or frozen, steam or boil until just tender. Drain the excess water, then add butter, brown sugar, and prepared syrup to taste. Continue to simmer stirring constantly until the glaze is the desired consistency. If using canned, simply drain the liquid, and cook in the butter, brown sugar, and syrup according to the same instructions.
