Drawn butter is definitely a delightful addition to many meals. You will first want to take 1 pound of butter and melt it over a low to medium heat until it starts a slow boil. As the butter is boiling it will start to have a frothy foam come to the top of the surface, remove this foam and throw it away. After a few more minutes of boiling you will notice that the milk solids are separating from the oil and sinking to the bottom. Once your drawn butter has reached a golden color, it means it is done. You then allow your butter to cool for a few minutes then with a cheesecloth, you strain your clarified butter into a heatproof bowl and then ladle it into individual cups to serve.
