Chocolate syrup is easy to make at home. Just put 1/2 cup of cocoa powder in a saucepan with 1 cup of water. Heat it until the cocoa is dissolved. Add 2 cups of sugar until it dissolves and boil about 3 minutes. Take off the heat and add 1/8 teaspoon of salt and 1/4 teaspoon of vanilla. Let it cool and then pour into a bottle and refrigerate. It’s great over ice cream.
