It is actually very easy to make your own caramel popcorn. You should first pop one back of microwave popcorn. You can then pre-measure the following ingredients into a pot: 1 cup brown sugar, 1/2 cup of butter, 1/2 cup light corn syrup, 1/2 tsp vanilla and 1/2 tsp baking soda. Heat to 250′ and then add in your popcorn and stir. Place the mixture on a cookie sheet and bake in 250′ for 1/2 hour.
