How do You Make a Mint Julep?

A great mint julep contains water, sugar, mint leaves and whiskey, first take a third a cup of water, two thirds a cup of sugar and 2 bunches of mint leaves to a boil in a saucepan, reduce the heat and stir until the sugar is dissolved. Cool this mixture completely and strain into a large pitcher, add one bottle of whiskey and stir. Serve this beverage in chilled glasses with crushed ice and sprigs of mint.
