How do You Find the Density of Water?

Usually one needs to know the mass of a thing in order to find its density. If you want to know the density of water, take a graduated cylinder with the amount of water in it, weigh the cylinder with the water in it, then pour the water out and weigh it without the water in it, subtract the weight of the empty cylinder to the weight of the cylinder while full, and then divide the mass by the volume. It’s that easy.
