How do You Cook Swiss Chard?

Try stir-frying swiss chard by washing the greens and trimming the stems; thinly slice the stems and coarsely chop the leaves. In a large skillet, heat a tablespoon of olive oil, a clove of garlic, chopped, and a pinch of red or black pepper, and saute just until the garlic begins to color. Add the stems and cook over medium-high heat for 1 minute; stir in the leaves and cook 2 to 3 minutes longer or until tender and sprinkle with salt.
