Soak the 1 1/2 cup of black beans overnight, and boil them for 10 min. Drain and keep on side do not throw the water away keep a cup of water aside. Chop 1 medium sized onion and saute in some oil. Add a chopped tomato to it, then add 1tsp of red chilly powder, add the water kept aside , some fresh cilantro and some basil and cook for 10 minutes on slow fire. Beans are good source of protein too.
