To boil an egg in the microwave, add 1/3 cup of water to a small deep bowl. Break and drop in your egg. Carefully prick the yolk with tip of knife or wooden pick. (it will explode if you don’t do this!) Cover with plastic wrap. Cook on full power about 1 1/2 to 2 minutes. Let it stand for about 2 minutes until the yolk and whites are completely done. Pour off the water and serve. To cook 4 eggs, use 2/3 cup water in 1-quart bowl or baking dish. Cook 1 1/2 to 3 minutes and let stand as above.
